Poland is a Parliamentary Republic in Middle Europe. The country has been a member of the European Union since 2004. It can be divided into five geographical areas. The climate is a relatively temperate one. The weather is very changeable in Poland and varies from area to area. In the north and west part of the country, we have a temperate sea climate. In the east we find a continental climate with strong winters and warm dry summers. Areas for winter sport are the regions of Sudeten and Karpaten between December and April.
