THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
The United Arab Emirates is a Constitutional monarchy, which is divided into seven emirates. They are situated in the Southeast of the Arabian Peninsula in Southwest Asia on the Persian Gulf. The seven emirates are:
Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain. Desert land covers more than 90% of the United Arab Emirates and the highest mountain ranges are 1.500mtrs.
The United Arab Emirates is the fourth richest country in the world. The main source of income is guaranteed with the export of petrol and gas. Trade and tourism have greatly increased in the last years. In Dubai especially tourism has become a very important source of income.

Climate:
The climate is one of the warmest . It is a dry desert climate. Near the coastline, humidity is relatively very high It rains only on one or two days per year. Temperature in winter is not less than 15C and in summer, temperature is frequnetly higher than 40C.
